1. Cancellation Policy
Early departures: No refund.
2. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
Refunds will not be granted due to failure to adhere to Cape York Hunting Lodge policies.
If Cape York Hunting Lodge must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, emergencies), guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
3. Privacy Policy
We collect personal information such as name, contact details, and payment information to process bookings.
Personal information is used only for Cape York Hunting Lodge operations and communication with guests.
We do not share, sell, or rent guest information to third parties, except where required by law.

4. Terms and Conditions
Booking & Payment
Full payment is required prior to arrival or on arrival at Cape York Hunting Lodge.
Rates are per night and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests must respect the Cape York Hunting Lodge rules, staff, and other visitors.
Pets are only allowed in designated areas and must be kept on a leash at all times.
Guests must clean up after themselves and dispose of waste responsibly.
No unauthorized visitors are allowed without prior approval.
Conduct & Damage
Guests must not engage in disruptive behaviours, excessive noise, or illegal activities.
Any damage caused to property, accommodation, or facilities must be reported immediately and may be charged to the guest.
Cape York Hunting Lodge reserves the right to evict guests who breach terms without a refund.
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in: From 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM (early check-in may be available upon request).
Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Late check-outs may incur an additional fee.
Liability & Indemnity
Guests acknowledge that staying on a working property involves inherent risks (e.g., wildlife, uneven terrain, weather conditions).
Cape York Hunting Lodge is not liable for loss, damage, injury, or death occurring on the property unless due to proven negligence.
Guests assume full responsibility for their safety and the safety of children under their care.
5. Hunting Activities
Participation & Licensing
All guests participating in hunting activities must hold valid and appropriate permits or licenses as required by Queensland law.
Proof of licensing may be requested prior to or during the activity.
Safety & Conduct
Strict adherence to all safety guidelines and instructions provided by Cape York Hunting Lodge staff is mandatory.
Alcohol or drug use prior to or during hunting activities is strictly prohibited.
Reckless or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate removal from the activity and may lead to eviction without refund.
Supervision & Guides
All hunting activities must be conducted under the supervision of an authorised guide or staff member.
Guests are not permitted to hunt independently unless specifically approved in writing by lodge management.
Liability & Assumption of Risk
Guests acknowledge that hunting is a high-risk activity and accept full responsibility for their actions and safety.
Cape York Hunting Lodge, its staff, and owners are not liable for any injury, loss, or death resulting from hunting activities, except in cases of proven negligence.
Animal Welfare & Ethical Practices
Only permitted game may be hunted, and all activities must follow ethical and humane practices.
Any breaches of animal welfare or illegal hunting practices will be reported to authorities.
Equipment & Firearms
Guests must only use approved firearms or equipment and must comply with all relevant firearm storage and handling laws.
Personal firearms must be declared upon booking and arrival and may be subject to inspection.
6. Swimming Disclaimer & Terms and Conditions
Assumption of Risk
By entering and using any natural water sources on our property, guests acknowledge that they do so entirely at their own risk. The waterways may be inhabited by crocodiles and other wildlife, posing a potential danger.
No Lifeguards or Safety Guarantees
There are no lifeguards or designated swimming areas on the property. The owners and management do not guarantee safety from wildlife, including crocodiles.
Personal Responsibility
Guests are solely responsible for the risks of entering any body of water.
No Liability
The property owners, employees, and management will not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or fatalities resulting from swimming or water-related activities.
Parental Supervision
Children must be supervised at all times near water. Parents or guardians accept full responsibility for the safety and actions of minors in their care.
Compliance with Warnings
Guests must follow any posted warnings, guidelines, or instructions regarding water safety.
Acknowledgment of Terms
By staying at or visiting the property, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
